I was inspired to become a massage therapist after a Low back injury from a car accident. For six months I saw a sports medicine & orthopedic doctor as well as a physical therapist for treatment. The treatments helped a great deal and I’m grateful to both rehab teams for all they did to assist in my recovery. After being discharged I continued to experience low back pain, spasms, stiffness, leg numbness and throbbing. After years of coping with the pain, it began to worsen landing me in the ER from sciatic and low back pain. I was advised to seek a massage therapist by an ER doctor and decided to go for it. And Oh how it changed my life. The more I received massages the more my symptoms faded and were much more manageable. My experience with massage and my desire to help others made my decision to become a massage therapist very easy. I love what I do. I enjoy seeing how it help others holistically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually as it has me. I honestly feel that I would not be able to live out my passion for helping others as a massage therapist if it wasn’t for the massage itself.
